Petula Alvaradous-Phillander, EdD, is an educator, behavioral health specialist, and community leader with more than 15 years of experience across higher education, public health, and behavioral health services. Her career includes leadership roles in hospital administration, long-term care, public health education, and community mental health, where she has focused on improving access, resilience, and wellness.She has earned a master’s-level health education certification (MCHE) and a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist certification (CPRS). She earned her Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from Baylor University in 2023, where her research explored academic self-concept as a pathway to building lifelong learners. Guided by a deep commitment to service, she integrates teaching, behavioral health, and leadership to drive positive change and empower communities.
